Easy Sourdough Discard Granola Recipe

Combine oats, coconut flakes, nuts, seeds, and spices together.

1. Mix Dry Ingredients

2. Mix Wet Ingredients

Whisk together sourdough discard, olive oil, honey, and almond extract.

3. Mix the wet & dry ingredients together

4. Spread out the granola mixture

Dump the granola mixture onto a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.  Preheat the oven to 325ºF.

5. Bake the granola

Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and toasty.

6. Chop dried fruit

While granola is cooling, chop up dried fruit (here apricots and golden raisins)

7. Break apart granola

Once the granola has cooled, break apart the granola into clusters as big or small as you'd like! Combine with the dried fruit.

Enjoy!

The granola is great with yogurt, as cereal, or as a snack on its own. Store the granola in a glass jar or sealed, plastic container for at least two weeks.
